We are here to create community, spark creativity and learn together.
Who can attend? All photographers or videographers are welcome!
What to expect at the session? This is a safe place for you to grow, learn and create amongst other photographers/videographers. We will allow attendees to take photos/videos at the same time, take turns and move around so that you can get different angles, and have the opportunity to lead/prompt/pose the clients! No types of harassment or bullying will be tolerated.
How long is the session? Most sessions typically last 1-2 hours in length. Exceptions are special edition Kindred Projects where they run longer.
What if I need to cancel? Your full payment will be credited to use towards a future kindred project session.
What do I need to bring? Your camera gear (bring however little or as much as you want!) and a water bottle.
Do I need basic knowledge of a camera? Ideally, yes! This is not a workshop so we won’t be spending time going over camera settings or providing any type of teaching component. We expect each attendee to take turns photographing. That being said, if this is an opportunity to learn your settings, practice and build a portfolio you are definitely welcome!

what to expect: this is a 2 for 1 deal! you will have the opportunity to practice your posing/prompting skills and build your portfolio in an area that most other photographers don’t offer! then you get to switch roles and step into your clients shoes and see how it feels to be in front of the camera. this will give you insight, knowledge and practice in how to better direct your clients and make them feel comfortable.
